The hoooka is an embeddable widget that streams and sells music, videos, and photo slideshows -- combining the community and networking aspects of MySpace with the digital sale opportunities and exposure of iTunes.
How does the money work?

  • The split is 80% to you (the artist) and 20% to Indie911. If your fans help sell your media by adding your song to their hoooka playlist, the split is 70% to you, 20% to Indie911, and 10% to the "hoooka owner." So you are paying your fans 10% to help you distribute and sell your music.
How do I set up a hoooka?
  • Set-up a MUSIC account on Indie911.com.
  • Upload your music. Edit each song and make sure they are designated for sale by checking the checkbox. It takes 24-48 hours for your music to be approved for sale.
  • Click the SHARE button in the bottom right hand corner of the hoooka and grab the embed code. Paste it on your social networking pages, website, blog and more to increase your sales.
  • Track your sales online by logging into your account.
